Michi no Eki Uzushio, which reopened after renovation in October 2025, is located in a perfect location facing the Naruto Straits. Located where the great tidal currents collide, the panoramic 360° (Sanrokumaru) rooftop observation deck offers a 360° panoramic view of the Naruto Straits, Onaruto Bridge, and the sea of Awaji Island, capturing the hearts of all who visit. It is truly a spectacular experience that can only be had here! It is especially recommended to visit at high and low tide, when the tides are swift, as you can feel the power of the giant whirlpools that appear one after another. Check the tide chart in advance for the best timing to see the whirlpools. There is a wisteria trellis tunnel near the parking lot, which is recommended as a photo spot when the wisteria flowers are in bloom.
Inside the facility, you can enjoy videos depicting the charms of the four seasons in Minami-Awaji City and gourmet foods made with plenty of fresh Awaji Island ingredients. Mackerel and hamburgers grilled over an open hearth, exquisite rice balls, hearty hamburgers, and sweets that are sure to be a hit on SNS, are just some of the many things you can enjoy only here!
