Irori Shokudo Uzushio is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy more than 100 kinds of food made from Awaji Island and the Naruto Straits, called "Uzushio's delicacies," while enjoying a spectacular view of the Naruto Straits.
The restaurant's manager, Masayoshi Kimura, greeted us with a smile at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant's signature dish is seasonal fish and ingredients grilled to perfection on the sunken hearth in the background.
The reporter had the "Awajishima 3-year torafugu samadai," a set meal that includes all parts of torafugu. This was actually the reporter's first experience with Awajishima 3-year torafugu. The menu included Awajishima 3-year torafugu sushi, grilled dish, fried dish, fin sucking, and teppi ponzu sauce.
