『囲炉裏食堂うずしお』は、鳴門海峡の絶景を眺めながら、“うずの幸”と呼ばれる淡路島と鳴門海峡の食材を年間100種類以上使った料理が楽しめる人気のお店です。

お店の入り口で、同店の木村将義店長が笑顔で迎えてくれました。背後に見える囲炉裏で香ばしく焼き上げられる旬の魚や食材が、同店の自慢料理です。

記者は、とらふぐの各部位がひととおり味わえる定食「淡路島3年とらふぐ三昧」を頂きました。実はこれが記者の「淡路島3年とらふぐ」初体験。内容は淡路島3年とらふぐ鮨、焼き物、から揚げ、ひれ吸い、てっぴポン酢と超豪華です。
