Thank you for visiting Awaji Island!
Hello! I am Miyaji, a staff member.
The rainy season has not started yet, although it is said that it will soon begin,
This is the time of year when hydrangeas are at their best on Awaji Island.
Among them, I went to the hydrangea garden in Awaji Hanasansui as soon as I received information that it was in full bloom!
It is a very pleasant place to be near the top of a mountain.
The aisles are beautiful with hydrangeas blooming like this!
Mr. Mizuta was very friendly and explained everything to me!
Since the park opened 13 years ago, there are now 70 varieties of hydrangeas!
And this farm has about 4,000 hydrangeas!
It is blooming beautifully!
The park is not too big, just a pleasant time to go around!
There are not only hydrangeas, but also old farm equipment on display.
There are log shiitake mushrooms and
There are swings where you can take a break and
There was a waterwheel to generate electricity and to make a small electric light.
Some of the characters I have seen somewhere before,
I had a good time because I was able to see a variety of things that kept me occupied!
Many guests enjoyed the event!
By the way, the green in the foreground is rice!
Why plant rice, rather than just watering it?
The green color is supposed to resemble a lawn!
It is a little far from Michi no Eki Uzushio, but it is worth a visit if you are planning to come to Awaji Island this time of year!
Please go there!
