Located on the western side of the southernmost tip of Awaji Island, this is the closest roadside station to Uzushio. With the Onaruto Bridge in close proximity, the station offers many attractions, including the Awajishima Burger, which won first and second place in the National Local Burger Grand Prix, and a restaurant with a spectacular view where you can taste freshly caught seafood from Fukura!
The store is full of vitality, displaying a vortex of onions directly from contract farmers, processed marine products, and sweets made from Awaji Island milk. A giant onion-shaped "onion chair" sits on the premises.
Take a picture with the sea and the bridge in the background. From the observation deck with a panel showing your face, go down the stairs and you will find yourself directly under the Onaruto Bridge. You will be surprised at how close you are to the surface of the sea, and you will feel the power of Naruto Straits many times over.
