Selector's Comment
At the new Michi-no-Eki Uzushio, we want to make it a facility that visitors can visit again and again with a renewed spirit as they travel through the four seasons.
We want to create a tourist facility where all visitors can feel a new and exciting feeling every time they come, an itch to come back again, just like a child.
The name "Uzubo" fits perfectly with these thoughts.
It is also easy to call and friendly, and has the atmosphere of a voracious and excited little child.
We hope that you will always be excited and enjoy the newly reborn Roadside Station Uzushio together with "Uzubo".
Some of the entries were the same as the Grand Prize winner in terms of sound and connotation, and after much hesitation, the final choice was "Uzubo," but it was also one of the entries that regrettably missed the Grand Prize with a slightly different notation,Special Nearest-to-the-Pin Award.I would like to present the following
