Roadside station overlooking Onaruto Bridge, wisteria trellises at their best in Minami-Awaji, Hyogo Prefecture
Wisteria trellises are at their best at "Roadside Station Uzushio" in Fukurahei, Minami-Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The roadside station is located at the tip of the peninsula, overlooking the Onaruto Bridge. The wisteria trellis was set up around 1972, and 21 wisteria trees line the 70-meter-long trellis. The trees have been carefully nurtured by the staff, who have placed additional trees on top of them. It had been closed due to renovation work, but was unveiled for the first time in three years.
The best time to view the flowers will be until around the 28th. When the parking lot of the Roadside Station is crowded, a free temporary shuttle bus will be available from the Naruto Cape Parking Lot "Uzumachi Terrace.
