What can be said of early spring on Awaji Island?

I think it is a sea eel.
In February, a test haul (a trial haul to check the growth and quantity of the fish) is conducted to determine the date for the opening of the season for the red drum fishery, which this year is set for February 26!
When the ban on the fishing of sea bream is lifted,

Fried squid (locally called kona) is on the table,

The good smell of cooking niki-niki (nails) overflows all over the place.
As soon as they arrive at Uzushio Shop Uzunokuni, a roadside station, you can enjoy kama-age and new fish boiled in a salted fish paste.
