Roadside Station Uzushio in Uzumachi Terrace" was introduced in the October 2024 issue of Tautoku!
Michi no Eki Uzushio (Roadside Station Uzushio) has been operating on top of a hill nearby since last March due to renovation work. The panoramic 270-degree view from the hill is breathtaking. The blue sea and sky spread out, and the Onaruto Bridge stands tall in front of you. There is also an onion sculpture on which you can sit, making it a popular photo spot.
The Awajishima Burger Awajishima Onion Kitchen Uzumachi Terrace Branch is a burger store that has won first place in the National Local Burger Grand Prix. The burger (2,200 yen for a set) is made with two Awaji beef patties, a fried egg, tomatoes, and other ingredients. The burger is approximately 13 cm high and is very satisfying! The "Awaji Island Naruto Orange" sauce is refreshing and spicy. The souvenir store "Shop Uzunokuni Uzumachi Terrace" offers about 100 kinds of original products using onions, seaweed salt, and other ingredients.Sitting on an onion sculpture, I snapped this photo! At twilight, if the timing is right, you can see the sunset directly behind the Onaruto Bridge.
